Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is looking for an energetic and personable Technical Field Sales Specialist with consumables sales & applications experience to join our North American Cell Health sales team. This is a West Coast development sales role, requiring strong prospecting and technical selling skills for our ValitaCell portfolio.

ValitaCell creates consumable & software analytics solutions for the biopharmaceutical & bioprocess industries with a goal of accelerating the time it takes to bring innovative medicines to market.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for ValitaCell sales activities & account management in the West Coast territory.

  • Maintain current business while also driving new revenue and margin growth across the ValitaCell consumables portfolio.

  • Develop a robust pipeline by identifying and cultivating target accounts.

  • Act as a technical resource, supporting customers with demos & evaluations of the ValitaCell technology.

  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to develop and close opportunities.

  • Implement a sales plan designed to achieve established sales and financial goals.

  • Participate in the establishment of sales targets and design of the territory's sales plan.

  • Promote solutions through participation in technical conferences, trade shows, publications, seminars, and symposiums.

  • Collect, report & manage information within the assigned territory on company CRM SalesForce.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in biotechnology, bioanalytics, or a closely related scientific discipline.

  • 3 years’ experience in a customer facing sales account management or FAS sales role preferably in the biopharma or life science industry.

  • Ability to travel in assigned West Coast territory required.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Masters or PhD preferred.

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated individual.

  • Knowledge of antibody discovery research and development space/market (Ab discovery, Ab cell line development, Ab process development experience) preferable.

  • Ability to execute consultative sales, supporting the customer in onboarding ValitaCell solutions.

The salary range for this role ($82,000 - $90,000 base) is min-mid range. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

This job is also eligible for uncapped incentive pay of $81,954 at plan.
